FTD - horrible arrangement, TWICE

My parents sent me an arrangement of roses for my birthday. They were delivered to me at work, where I opened the box excitedly only to find dead, brown, drooping roses with petals falling to the ground(EVERY single one!) -- So I called FTD customer care to complain and they promised to send me a new arrangement the next day. So today I got my new flowers, and they look like they are from the SAME rotting batch of roses that my others came from! I can't believe after I made such a big stink they'd send something so horrendous for the SECOND time. I will NEVER use FTD again. Oh and BTW, my boyfriend also sent me roses from 1-800 Flowers that are bloomed and beautiful :)!

CALL YOUR LOCAL FLORIST NOT FTD!!!!

I have worked for a flower shop and I must say it is just as frustrating on our end. We do our best to fill the orders but FTD is always under-selling and the money we get is never enough to fill order to the customers expectation. CALL YOUR LOCAL FLORIST or google the city your sending them to for a phone number and you will get the best service & value. Any complaints will be taken care of in a professional & timely manner!!! Always call, never use those online "deal" websites!!!! Good luck next time! Have a good day

Flowers arrangement is not delivered on time

Flowers scheduled to be delivered today, 1/30/2013. I placed an order with FTD on 1/28/2013. It is already 8 pm, but flowers are not delivered yet. I sent an email inquiry in the middle of the day today and received an answer that flowers are to be delivered today. I called to the FTD customer service several times trying to speed up the delivery, but it did not help so far. It is already 8:25pm now, but flowers are not still delivered. The FTD Customer Service reassures me that they will deliver flowers shortly, but it is already too late and I am very unhappy. These flowers were meant to be presented to my wife on our wedding anniversary.

Thank you FTD for the lack of flowers at grandma's funeral

Definitely regretting not reading the reviews before ordering....My sister and I were unable to attend our grandmother's funeral due to distance and obligations, but our consolation was going in on a beautiful bouquet of calla lillies with a nice poem to be there representing our love. Unfortunately, FTD completely failed. The flowers were ordered to be delivered the day before the funeral, which they were. Unfortunately, they were also completely frozen, I can only assume from being left in a delivery truck in the middle of a freezing NY winter. My sister called FTD, who assured her they would have a new bouquet sent the following day BY 9AM, as the funeral was scheduled for 11am. At 9:30, when the flowers had still not been delivered, I called FTD, who gave me a cop-out answer that they could not possibly have promised that, as they have no control over delivery times. Sadly, we did not get the name of the name who had promised this only the day before. They refunded my order but that can't fix the lack of my flowers at my grandmother's funeral, and needless to say we are still furious at their *** delivery services and lack of caring.

Delivery was supposed to be sent on New Years Eve. I got an email saying it was delivery confirmed.I asked my mother and she had no recollection. Nope.I called FTD. .telling me florist was closed on new years day and they would contact the florist and get back to me...

Obviously it was the fault of the florist who read the address wrong and delivered it to the wrong house. People like you really *** me off, you complain when stuff happens (which yes it sucks that it does) but you clearly showed above that FTD tried making it right.

They admitted that it was not your fault and they offered to deliver an arrangement LARGER than what you ordered for free. Ultimately the company sent out two arrangements in the end. They made no profit, in fact they lost money to make it right for you. Sometimes stuff happens, don't ****** about it if they tried to fix it for you.

I would have sent Kacey a thank you letter for trying to fix it.

FTD florists charged me $116 and never delivered the flowers.

I ordered roses to be delivered for Christmas. They were supposed to be delivered on December 22. By the 24th, they still hadn't been delivered and I call ed the 24 hour cust service #. They said someone would get back to me. By the 26th, I had heard from no one, so I e-mailed customer service. I got an e-mail form letter saying they would contact me but they never did. I can't get a response from them at all and I am out $116 and the Christmas present I planned for the recipient was ruined.

You need to call in to get it refunded. A lot of times it is the florists fault that it wasn't delivered but ultimately the fault goes to FTD because they are the carrier.

They will not just hold the money.

If it was not delivered then you need to call and inform them of that and get your money back. They will not keep your money for no services.

FTD-Do not use!

I placed an order to be delivered today 12/21/12 and it was never delivered. The most frustrating part is their customer service agent will not provide you with the local florists' information. So, even if that florist lies and says it was delivered, or delivered it elsewhere, you are unable to follow up with them. How ridiculous is that? The customer service representative, obviously at a call center outside of the United States, refused to give me her name or employee i.d. number. I will never use FTD again when there are so many other flower companies to choose from.

Main Reason they do not give out florist name is they do not pass it off all money!!!! they keep some money and give florist. They knows the cat can be out of the bag!!!!

You do realize that they can not give out the information about the florist because it is a legal issue right? With my experience regarding non-delivery, they take your word for it.

You need to call back in to get it resolved. It is against their company policy however to refuse to give the name and employee number....at least it is at other call centers.

Don't use FTD

Sent a plant that was supposed to have flowers in it. At the funeral, to my surprise the plant didn't have a single flower in it. Wrote to FTD and they sent a form type of apology. Too little, to late. There are lots of other choices out there. They asked me to fill out a survey and I filled it out to let them know that I was disappointed with the product they sent. After that they sent a 25 percent off comeback offer. Are they kidding? Really?? Whatever the next occasion might be, I wouldn't give them another chance to misrepresent what they say they'll send.

FTD SUCKS

If you are thinking of getting flowers through FTD "DON'T DO IT" I really wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. They sent half dead flowers and when you contact them they tell you it will be taken care of but you never hear from them again and they blow off any other attempt to contact them. The 7 day satisfaction guarantee does not even last one minute after the delivery of the flowers. They are a bunch of liars and have the most pathetic business practice I have ever dealt with. DO NOT BUY FROM FTD!!!!!! I could have went dumpster diving behind any REAL florist and made a better display than what was delivered to my wife.

Ordered flowers for delivery for a birthday. They weren't delivered.

Called and complained. FTD apologized and promised delivery the following day (a day late) with a larger arrangement. No delivery. Called to complain, and they apologized again.

Sought delivery and refund since FTD failed to deliver as promised -- twice. Talked with customer service supervisor (sounded like she was in the Philippines) that had no authority to do anything but offer and apology. Could do nothing to actually have the flowered delivered or the problem fixed. Cancelled the order.

Bought from 1-800-flowers. Poor FTD service.

Lack of performance to acceptable standards. I won't buy from FTD again.

I ordered flowers for my mom's 82nd birthday. I ordered the Angelica boutique which had roses. They sent her a different boutique which had lillies. My mom and I have always viewed lillies as the "funeral flower." The odor was so strong of the lillies, it made her very very ill requiring medical care. FTD refused to send another order of flowers or refund my money. They also did not include the balloon that was ordered. They don't speak very good English as most companies, they are oversea call centers. Thanks for ruining my mom's birthday and making her sick.

There is not a flower on this planet that produces a scent that requires medical care.

It's not very often that I complain about a purchase gone wrong, but I feel this is necessary. I placed an order for flowers and balloons while I was out of town on my Wedding Anniversary. I spent $120 for what I thought was something that would last more than 24 hours. The balloons were were already laying on the table less than 10 hours after they were delivered. I am not a flower expert, but I don't think the flowers should be bending over the side of the vase less than 24 hours after they were delivered. The balloons and the flowers were a complete flop. I normally order from Teleflora and have had great success. So here is the best part, I sent in a email they day after they were delivered...On Saturday indicating my frustration with $120.00 wasted. I received an response Today (4 days later). Here is the response: "Please accept our sincere apologies with regard to your recent FTD.COM purchase. We understand how important this gift is t o both you and your recipient, and we are truly sorry it did not meet your expectations. We always strive to provide the very finest quality and service, so please let us assure you that all your future orders will be filled with the special attention and care that they deserve." So, what there saying is I am sorry you wasted your money, but give us another chance and we will make sure we get it right the next time. For a company that services customers during emotional times, I can't imagine their Leadership believes this is an appropriate response. Once If figure out how to post a picture with this, I will. The picture says it all and it was taken about 14 hours after they were delivered. If anyone at FTD really cares about this, research orders FMC100**** and FMC100**** and think about what you would want to happen if this happened to you.

FTD.com is a total RIPOFF

A little to late I now understand that FTD.COM is just an order gathering company. They take your money, promise you anything, advertise cheap prices knowing full well that they cannot get a florist to fill the order for the amount that FTD.COM advertises. Call your LOCAL FLORIST if it is important to you that the flowers get there. Always make sure that you are dealing with a real florist not just someone who takes your order and passes it on to be filled. After talking to my Uncle who has been in the flower business for over 30 years, even florist dislike FTD.COM do to there shoddy ways.

FTD..no flowers, no service, NO More!!!

Flowers were never delivered on scheduled date. Customer service from Bangladesh was hopeless and had no answers even though they new hours before the end of the day and could not get in touch with the assigned florist. Choose any other florist including Walmart before you think about FTD. I had the same problem with FTD 2 years ago and swore off them, however I received a coupon in my email and thought I'd give them a second chance. Well, first time, shame on FTD. This second time, shame on me. Go everywhere and anywhere else for your florist needs.

FTD FAIL TO DELIVER!!!

I went online to FTD.com, to order some gift for my friend's Birthday. I chose flowers, ballons and cake. Each order had to be done separately. (not an user friendly website ) I was charged shipping separately for each item. Two items, the ballons and the flowers were delivered to his desk, but the cake was left at the shipping dock. My friend set me the pics of the flowers ( $ 150.00 and they don't even look like the one advertised on the website I understand that all the flowers can look the same but this arrangement for the price looked puny!!!) but no cake I called FTD and their response was that they are not responsible for Fedex's delivery methods.....to this time, The cake has not been found... $ 50.00 later I am disputing the charges but no results as yet..... I AM PISSED!!!!!

FTD doesn't call the customer back if they experience a problem they simply shoot you an e mail and expect that you will get it in time for you to correct the problem.I ordered today (very first and last time using this company) and when I got back to check my e mails they said ordered was stopped.I called them up and asked them why and they say its b/c my cc declined (BS) I call my cc company and wouldn't you know it there is a 79 hold from FTD for the failed delivery.So this company borrow's consumers money for 3-5 business days and then doesn't deliver the product but holds your money b/c the address or something was invalid? why isn't this fraud in anyone else's eyes ? I mean they have my money on hold but won't deliver as they promised and I even got a transaction ID from them so I thought everything was fine.I will NEVER order from them again.They never once called to asked me to correct the problem which apparently wasn't a problem if they charged the card.FTD is a RIPOFF
